Doula Care: Birth, Postpartum & Mother Roasting

Before making the decision to become a doula, I began a phase of deep self-examination in search of my true life purpose. In that period of time I experienced the loss of my father, who taught me how important it was to serve others selflessly with love, kindness, and joy.  I learned a lot about myself during his passing on and I believe it was his spirit that guided me to my calling to serve, nurture & empower women and their companions during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period.

In September 2012, I completed both my DONA Birth Doula training and ICEA Postpartum Doula training and by September 2013 I will be certified through both organizations. My passion for connecting with people on their journey through parenthood inspires me to further my knowledge and understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, infant & mamma care so that I may continue to offer the most current fact based information. This combined with newly gained experience continues to confirm my belief in a woman's divine ability to birth and to care for her baby through her own unique expression as well as her divine right to be nurtured and cared for uniquely by others.

My services include: vibrational birthing, therapy rubs, relaxation techniques, equipping mom and her partner with extensive labor and birth preparation, birth/postpartum plan writing, belly binding, placenta encapsulation, meal prep & organization, plus newborn care. But most importantly, I customize my doula service to what the mother feels is necessary and I always provide a safe place for her to express her needs.  My sole purpose in life is to uplift+empower women, especially those crossing over the threshold of motherhood, by way of gentle+loving selfless service.
